Spring Field Trip

Each spring, 6th graders have explored Baltimore in different ways to prepare them for their city project in 7th grade, and to keep them close to home, as they have had their more significant field trip in the fall. They experienced different aspects and sites of Baltimore. This year, students visited the National Aquarium for a scavenger hunt about conservation, which paralleled their science curriculum, and allowed them to put what they've learned to the test!  The tallies are still being added but the most correct answers on the scavenger hunt wins a special "Baltimore snack basket" to enjoy at snack!

Then, they walked to Hard Rock Cafe, where they enjoyed lunch, before walking to the Reginald Lewis Museum for a guided tour. Finally, they departed on Spirit Cruise, where they had a 75-minute narrated tour of Baltimore from the harbor! Students gained a very different perspective of Baltimore's sights and sounds from the water!  Everyone had a great time!
